Product Line Description
IAD Biotech Pregnancy Wand Test (OTC) and IAD Biotech Cassette Test (POC): This test series uses simplified technology. It is used by consumers in their home (OTC) and by the professional market (POC) to determine pregnancy. The Company believes that of all consumer IVD tests on the market sold by it or its competitors; the pregnancy test is the most popular. The Company knows of at least five other companies who compete with it regarding this product.
IAD Biotech Ovulation Wand Test (OTC) and IAD Biotech Ovulation Cassette Test (POC): This test series predicts the onset of ovulation. Ovulation tests are widely used by women trying to conceive. The Company knows of at least four other companies who compete with it regarding this product.
IAD Biotech Menopause Wand Test (OTC) and IAD Biotech Menopause Cassette Test (POC): This test series is a simple urine-based test to determine if menopause has occurred. This test shows if there is a "high constant" level of follicle-stimulating hormone, indicating that menopause has taken place.
IAD Biotech Drugs-of-Abuse Cup Test (OTC) and IAD Global Biotech's Drugs-of-Abuse Dipstick Multipanel Test (POC): This test series detects the presence of metabolites of cocaine, marijuana, methamphetamines, amphetamines, benzodiazepines, PCP, and opiates in urine. The tests are sold to a variety of markets such as parents, governmental agencies, schools, and employers. The Company's tests are completed onsite within ten minutes.
IAD Biotech Glucose Test (same product for OTC and POC markets with different packages): This test indicates the apparent presence of diabetes or hypoglycemia.
IAD Biotech Cholesterol Test (OTC) and IAD Global Biotech's Cholesterol Colormetric Test (POC): This test series determines the levels of cholesterol in whole blood which assists in combating the treat of heart disease.
IAD Biotech Urinary Tract Infection Test (same product for OTC and POC markets with different packages): This test determines nitrates in urine, a symptom of urinary tract infection in men and women.
IAD Biotech Breast Self-Examination Pad (OTC only): This highly sensitive pad is used by women to self-examine their breasts on a routine basis, for the early detection of breast lumps. It reduces the friction of skin against skin, making lumps easier to feel. The test includes a six-minute video demonstrating the correct method of breast self-examination and stressing the need for early detection and treatment of breast cancer.
IAD Biotech Colorectal Test (OTC only): In their early stages, colorectal diseases such as cancer, ulcers, hemorrhoids, polyps, colitis, diverticulitis, and fissures often do not show visible symptoms. This test detects unseen blood and thereby serves as an early warning signal for disease. A tissue is thrown in the toilet and the patient then sees if the tissue changes color thus indicating the presence of blood. The Company knows of only one other competitor offering this type of product.
IAD Biotech Mononucleosis Test (POC only): This test is an antibody rapid diagnostic test, which indicates mononucleosis using whole blood samples.
IAD Biotech Strep A Test (POC only): This test is a rapid diagnostic test using
reagents added to a swab containing a throat mucus sample.
IAD Biotech Influenza Test (POC only): This test is a diagnostic test, which indicates antibodies of influenza using whole blood samples.
IAD Biotech H-Pylori Test (POC only): This ten-minute test determines the
presence of the Helicobacter-Pylori bacteria in the digestive system.
IAD Biotech Fecal Occult Blood (POC only): This test adds reagents to a stool sample to determine the existence of blood in the stool.

Q. How does it work?
• Immunochemistry.
• An infected liquid sample flowing along the cassette membrane will interact with specific antibodies which we manufactured directly onto the cassette membrane surface. These antibodies rapidly join together with the pathogens into pathogen -antibody complexes. A pathogen is an infectious agent, like Canine Parvovirus for example. The formation of pathogen-antibody complexes will cause a visible chemical reaction to occur at the first line (T) in the large cassette well. This is the cassette’s test (T) zone. When the liquid sample reaches the end of the cassette membrane the presence of the specific antibodies will cause a visible chemical reaction to occur at the second line (C) in the large cassette well. This is the cassette’s control (C) zone.
• The presence of a single visible C line means that the test cassette functioned correctly.
• The presence of any visible lines at both the T and C zones means that a pathogen in the sample was detected and that the test functioned correctly.
• The presence of only a single visible T line, without any visible C line, means that the test has failed and did not function correctly.
